Legacy HC120F Fusible Hair Canvas is a woven fusible interfacing suitable for garment construction when crisp detail or firm control is desired. It is best for use with medium to heavyweight fabrics and is excellent for use in jackets and coats. Do not use in triacetate seersucker lace or rainwear fabric.
Hair canvas helps your jacket lay properly. Plus, it makes a big difference to the finished garment quality.
Note: ALways pre-test with a swatch of your fabric before using to make sure it is compatible with the fusible.
- Trim and Steam-Baste. Pin pattern piece to interfacing following grainline arrows; cut. Trim seam allowances to 1/4″ (6mm).Next, place fusible side of Pellon Fusible Sheerweight on wrong side of fabric. Pin then steam-baste along edges with tip of iron.. Remove pins.
- Cover with a damp press cloth. Set iron on low/permanent press setting. Always use a damp press cloth and press down firmly for 10 seconds. Repeat, lifting and slightly overlapping iron until all interfacing is fused. Steam press on right side. Let fabric cool, then, then check bond. Use steam iron with metal sole plate. Hand-held steamers will not permanently bond interfacing to fabric.

Fusing is NOT recommended for triaciatate, lace, seersucker, or rainwear.
Use your damp press cloth as a temperature and timing guide . After 10-15 seconds, press cloth should be dry. If not, raise iron temperature or hold in place for a few seconds longer.

Care instructions: Dry clean only with ironing on low medium permanent press setting.
