Do you ever go back to make a pattern again and forget what adaptations you made to make it fit perfectly. Do you always have fabric leftover, but frustratingly not enough to make anything else? Do you finish a project and think it would have fitted better if I’d make this.. or that.. change?

Keep a track of the patterns you’ve made, where you bought the fabric, how much fabric you actually needed for your size (so you don’t waste fabric next time), the notions you need and any hacks or changes you made, plus notes on what you would do differently next time.

Each sheet tears off, so you can pop it in the pattern envelope, or keep them filed in a folder, ready to look at and be more organised when you start next time!

I’ve learnt the discipline of keeping notes to help with the next project and these pages prompt me to document all the key points. Really helpful and I’m really benefitting from previous notes. Thanks Kaye for making everything easier.
