Description
Denim is one of the most hardworking and versatile fabrics to work with. It can be made into lots of different garments including dresses coats and of course jeans. If you are thinking of working with denim there are a number of things you need to consider. Let us take you through the techniques, tips and tricks to make your denim clothes look like shop bought. We will also tackle those tricky construction techniques such as fly front zip construction and patch pockets . Check out the comprehensive list below for other things that we will cover.

- Guide to machine stitches and setting for denim
- Tips for topstitching
- Stitching bar tacks and buttonholes
- Attaching belt loops
- Fly front zip insertion
- Coin and back pocket construction
- How to attach rivets and jeans buttons
- Hemming options for your denim garment

What Do I Need To Bring With Me To The Course
You will need to bring
- Your sewing machine plus instruction manual
- Extension cable
- You will need a full tool kit (You will be given a list of what to bring)
- Your own packed lunch and water bottle plus mug for hot drinks
What else do I need to know?
- This course is designed for students who feel comfortable at their sewing machine and have made a number of garments already.
- You will receive a confirmation email upon booking please ensure you have given us your telephone number. You will be added to a course WhatsApp group 1 week before the start of the course
- Our classes are non-refundable so please make sure you’ve checked your diary carefully before booking
