Delivery & Returns Policy

 

It’s great that you have chosen to shop with us and we want to make sure everything runs perfectly for you. We will carefully cut your fabric, pack your haberdashery, and inspect each item to ensure it’s perfect before adding it to your order. We make every effort to provide full details and accurate images for all of our products. If you have any questions about a product please contact us before ordering.

Packaging of orders

 We post orders three days per week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Wherever possible, we package all orders in recyclable packaging. 

Click and collect orders

Your click and collect items will be packaged in a recyclable brown paper bag with your name on. Just like a lunch bag, only with more exciting items inside! There is a secure box placed on the drive next to the entrance door/gate to The Studio . If you are not scheduled for a class, you can still collect an order at your convenience without disturbing classes.

Royal Mail orders

We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 2 days and send out via Royal Mail 1st Class delivery. Please note that we are currently only delivering to addresses within the UK and do not deliver to PO box addresses. However, we may offer overseas deliver in the future.

Shipping costs

Orders over £60 – FREE
Patterns and small haberdashery – £3
Larger parcels and fabric under £5 – £5

Leaving parcels in a safe place is the responsibility of the customer and The Studio at Number 30 cannot be held responsible for any items lost due to instructions given to a courier.

Please note – whilst we will do everything we can to get your order to you promptly, we cannot guarantee Royal Mail’s delivery times.

Haberdashery

Unused and unopened products can be returned in their original condition within 14 days.

Any packaged haberdashery items cannot be returned if they have been removed from their original packaging, unless the item is faulty. In this case, it can be returned for a full refund within 14 days of delivery.

Fabric

We inspect all fabric before cutting. Cut fabric lengths cannot be refunded unless damaged during shipping. We strongly recommend that you pre wash and dry all your fabric before cutting out your garment, according to the manufacturer’s recommended instructions. Certain fabrics, especially denim, can shrink up to 10%.

Similarly, cut lengths of trimmings cannot be refunded unless faulty.

Damaged items

Any damaged item must be returned within 14 days of delivery.

Please note: You must contact us at The Studio before returning any item. Return postage is  the responsibility of the purchaser unless the item was damaged when received. Please keep your proof of posting when returning. All refunds will be made to the original payment method used.

Exchanges

Items can be returned if for some reason you change your mind. Items must be returned unopened and unused in its original packaging. Exchanges must be made within 14 days of receipt and return postage is the responsibility of the buyer.

Sale items

Please note that sale items cannot be refunded.
